Good evening…going blind today cuz of bookeeping job…But, I just wanted to post Sister #1…The idea for her just popped into my head one day, like the pose and design of her body…The coolest part for me, tho, is that the back ground is collaged cut out drawings by artists like Picasso…Max Beckmann, a little clip art(vintage-style) some Gauguin and a bit of my own drawings mostly all women!!! lots and lots of laters of various burnt sienna glazes and multi applications of gels and stains…I really love the look then I kind of polished it…it started with texture first…This is a lot of fun to play with. The thing I dont like is the dumb tatoo that I later painted on her belly…guess I could tweak it a bit…Right? Thanks for reading my rambling….nite, nite.
this isa painting..that is number two outta two called “sisters” … it is made with acrylic paint, fabric and scrapbook paper and joint compound…the first “sister” is prolly my second favorite painting of all of mine(maybe) I will try to post either one painting or one Drawing every day cuz its fun and I have never really shown much of anything cuz Im shy….but tumblr is getting funner for me and Im really thinkin ..iphone Thank you Mr. Spinadoodles for showing me this!!
